We regularly leave our cat, Daisy, at the Cats Motel when we are away and the care she receives is outstanding. They are happy to accommodate her special diet and need for cuddles, they took extra special care of her on her first few visits on her own after her brother, Toby, died and, when Toby was alive, they were happy to give him his medication and insulin injections twice a day. Amazing service and they all really care about the 'customers', unlike some catteries who we have had to use elsewhere in the country in the past, who only seemed to care about taking the fees. I would not hesitate to recommend Cats Motel to anyone.

Our 18 year old cat had a very extended 2 month stay here because of relocation to the area. I was concerned how he would cope. I needn't have worried- The staff were brilliant- He was extremely well looked after. We were able to pop in and visit him!😂 Thanks to everyone. Highly recommended.

My cat has several regular visits to the cat motel each year, usually between 4 & 6. He is always happy to stay there. All of the penns have the cats own outside area aswell as their own indoor area. It's always immaculately clean and superbly well organised. My mind is always at rest when my cat visits. I thoroughly recommend the cat motel. The staff are welcoming and cheerful.

We took our 3 cats here for a weekend last month. We normally take them to Dorwell Cattery in South Brent but we thought it was a bit far just for a weekend. This cattery advertises itself as a "luxury cattery" but is nowhere near. Unless you take your own beds the cats sleep on small bits of old fleece in a uncomfortable wooden box. We requested that dried food be left down all the time as that is what they are used to at home and one of our cats really only likes dried. When we picked them up there was no dried food down. This is my main problem with catteries, how hard is it to do what you ask them to do?! I though the owner was quite abrupt and would definitely not use them again. Also they shut quite early on a Sunday so no good if you are not coming back until the afternoon on a weekend away. You have to pick them up on the Monday meaning they get to charge you for an extra day. I can safely say that no other cattery comes near Dorwell which is FAB approved and really is luxury. We will be making the 90 minute round trip down there now even for a weekend even though the Cats Motel is 2 minutes away from us. If you love your cats don't take them to the Cats Motel!
