I would heartily recommend Cats at Fern bank if you are looking to use a cattery.  Lorraine is amazing and has looked after our cat many times. She treats him as her own and has helped us out on a few occasions with care on very short notice.

The only cattery we trust and the only cattery our cat likes. Every time we go on holiday, this is our no 1 choice.nWe've been coming from 30+ miles away for it in the last 4 years, since we had our cat.nThank you, Lorraine.

Our cats had a lovely stay at Lorraine’s.  She cared for them wonderfully and they have clearly had a lovely time with her!  Lorraine was great at keeping us up to date on how they were while we were away, which was great too.  Would heartily recommend Cats at Fern Bank for your cats, especially as it is cat only - which are few and far between in the Ripon / Thirsk area.

I took my elderly female cat to Fern Bank for a week. She needs medication 3 times a day. When I brought her home she was well, relaxed and the owner  had kept me informed of her well-being throughout  the stay.Would definitely recommend Fern Bank from my experience. In spite of the hot weather the pens are cool and look out onto a lovely garden.

Wonderful place, Lorraine is amazing and so cat oriented may have been a cat in a former lifeI would not go on holiday if I could not get my fur babies in her delightful cattery, nothing is too much trouble and she texts you whilst your away so you know all is well! The best cattery I have ever been involved with, spotless,roomy and well run,this lady is a star and my cats don't want to leave
