The best lounge in Terminal 3, no contest! Everything from the staff, the food, the facilities, and the atmosphere, make the Cathay Pacific lounge the place I enjoyed most at Terminal 3. The lounge is split in two, with a lounge for First Class passengers or those with certain gold-level cards, with a business lounge for others. The First Class lounge is exceptional with a very discreet feel. You are not disturbed, it is very quiet, and there is a large selection of self-serve food and drinks. There is also dining available. There are fantastic comfortable chairs and footrests to use while looking out at the planes. In the Business Class lounge, you'll find much the same as First. It is larger and thus not as quiet, but it's never too loud. Everywhere has good charging options and great WiFi. There is an extensive selection of food and a full service bar for beers, wines, spirits and more. There are showers for use but I did not choose to do so. The bathrooms are very well looked after, with staff checking on these very regularly. The reception staff are some of the best I've come across. They are so welcoming and very professional.
This is probably my favorite lounge to visit while traveling internationally. Everything is great and the thing that I enjoy most is the space between seating and the quiet. They have wonderful on demand dining for first class, as well as self serve snacks, and drinks and their noodle bar is famous. The shower facilities are also wonderful and well appointed. I spent a couple hours in the lounge and I enjoyed every moment of it. If you can, do yourself a favor and arrive early so that you can enjoy some time to yourself in the lounge.
Definitely the best lounge in T3, with nice fresh food, including dim sum, and good quality tea. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of space. It would be nice if power outlets were more international instead of just UK plugs.
In my opinion this is the best lounge in Heathrow terminal 3. Delicious and well presented food! Great selection of drinks including cocktails and champagne. Stylish but relaxed environment with lots of different places to eat, drink and relax before your flight.
This lounge is one of the best business class lounges on the market. Perfect to relax, even for a longer time, before your flight. Wonderful fresh food, delicious desserts and a big choice of drinks. More than enough seating possibilities are available to accommodate people even if it gets crowded.
Came here waiting for my japan air flight. The first lounge is slightly small - seats around 30 people. Dining area is nice and clean, alcohol selection is ok. Checked the shower as everyone mentioned how great it was but wasn't to impressed - was slightly dirty and felt damp. Overall good lounge but prefer the qantas lounge next door.
The lounge is not crowded during a weekday afternoon, you could get some decent, freshly made Asian/Chinese food from the counter, as well as some indian curry / wings / bread / cheese plate from across the counter. Smooth and stable wifi for you to kill time. Friendly staff to help with your flight details. Would recommend this lounge for transit.
NOTE: This review is for the First Class Lounge, but the Business Class Lounge is fantastic too! Where to even begin… this lounge is hands down the best airport lounge in the UK. I’d say it’s in the top 3 in Europe and top 5 world wide. You won’t find better than this in terms of style and substance. The lounge is located in Terminal 3, which isn’t one of the better terminals in Heathrow, which makes this lounge stand out even more. Despite not being the best terminal, T3 has some amazing lounges, as the Qantas lounge and AMEX Centurion lounge are also very very good. The lounge is located in the departures hall about a 3 minute walk from security. The lounge is accessed from an elevator up to the reception. There is where the lounge is split between First and Business Class. The BC one is very good and itself it’s probably one of the best lounges out there, but the FC lounge is where things hit another level. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. The toilets are located outside the main areas of each lounge but easily accessible and done to a very high standard. Showers are also available and located next to the toilets. The lounge design is absolutely stunning. This may be a personal option but the furniture and design is of top quality and is just a lovely place to be. The first class Lounge isn’t that big but there are plenty of places to sit and relax, as well as charge and enjoy food and drink. The best are the so called “Throne Chairs” where you can put your feet up by the window, charge your devices using the charging points in the side tables, and watch as planes depart and arrive from runway 027. You can also watch as planes pull up to the gate making these chairs not only amazingly comfortable but also a dream for plane spotters and AvGeeks. Quite conventionally there is a small buffet with top quality food and snacks, as well as hot drinks and many juices and a substantial alcohol section. There are many cakes and pastries as well as small savoury snacks and even a small selection of hot food such as small baskets of fish and chips and Asian style pastry and dumplings, and the alcohol selection is wide ranging and of great quality. The staff are attentive and also get you anything you ask for from the bar or food selection. The stand out feature of the first class lounge is the a-la-carte dining restaurant. The selection is wide ranging and you can get a three course meal encompassing both western and Asian cuisines. The food is of top quality and the drinks selection again is vast. They make amazing cocktails and the food and drink come promptly. If heading to the lounge make sure to leave plenty of time, 2 hours plus to really enjoy your time here. It makes flying from Terminal 3 an absolute pleasure, and something I actively seek out!
The Cathay Pacific lounge is great compared to BA and American offerings, great views, lovely relaxing atmosphere and a wide selection of self serve breakfast choices or restaurant. Service was very fast and the lounge was spotless with very comfortable seating
Never thought I'd review an airport lounge, but the options for breakfast here were amazing. I can't wait to come back to experience it for lunch or dinner. They had fresh juices and shots, savory noodles and soups, and plenty of fruit to start off the day.
