We have recently returned from a long weekend at Catchpenny Safari Lodges and would thoroughly recommend a visit.  We are very familiar with the East Neuk of Fife and the location of the tents is spectacular with views over to North Berwick and along the Fife coast.  The tents are extremely comfortable and it takes the hassle out of a long weekend knowing that bed linen, towels, hot water bottles, tea, coffee, salt, pepper, washing up liquid etc are all taken care of.  There was even a vase of fresh daffodils to greet us on arrival!  We had a very successful BBQ for 10 on the large fire pit which comes with the tent too.  Both our boys (one being a sometimes hard to please teen!) thought the cabin bed was fantastic and our dog enjoyed the bowl and biscuit awaiting his arrival.  This is way beyond our usual standard of camping but if you fancy being under canvas with plentiful home comforts then this is definitely worth trying.  We wish Alex and Tara every success with their new venture, we would love to return.
