Nice small town, shops, toilets, very picturesque. Excellent parking, really good walks along river. Worth a stop for an hour or two, town kept tidy and good facilities for visitors.

Stopped here to break our journey home from Edinburgh. Plenty of parking places with a view of grass area towards the river.nThe public toilets were in good order and well maintained. Good to see so many EV charging points for an average size car park in a small borders town . The 99 cone , from the ice cream van which I understand parks frequently, was a bonus.nExcellent well managed facilities which was spotless.
Even on a dull day, this is a lovely place to be for children. Lots of places to run and play and to have a picnic by the river. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
