Stopped here to break our journey home from Edinburgh. Plenty of parking places with a view of grass area towards the river.nThe public toilets were in good order and well maintained. Good to see so many EV charging points for an average size car park in a small borders town . The 99 cone , from the ice cream van which I understand parks frequently, was a bonus.nExcellent well managed facilities which was spotless.
Even on a dull day, this is a lovely place to be for children. Lots of places to run and play and to have a picnic by the river. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great spot for a break on A7 to and from Edinburgh.nProper spot for family, benches and quite scenic park.
What a lovely little spot. Clean and tidy with picnic benches, benches and access to the river side with its clear water. Toilets clean too! A great little stop off.
