As a young child living in New York, U.S.A., my father told me about this castle and how my ancestors lived there. All my life I've wanted to go and see it, touch it, smell the green moss on it's rock walls. I learned that although they didn't originally build it, they were keepers of this fine castles and built an attaching tower which bears my family's name. I finally got to visit Castle Sween, a life long dream came true. I can not describe the feeling inside me as I stood upon this hallowed ground. I connected with my heritage, my origin more than I ever had been before. 
To visit Castle Sween weather you're related to it or not, is a magical experience if you let your mind wonder to the past.
