I have always found the staff and doctors here to be helpful and competent. I find the ability to phone or drop in to book an appointment in the morning means when you are ill, you CAN get a same day appointment. There is also a stop and wait clinic to deal with urgent issues. The nurses here are also excellent so if you feel able to explain your problem to reception they can direct you appropriately. Plenty of parking. The onsite pharmacy will be fully open in March 2018 so you won't have to go back to the town centre to deal with your prescription. Lots of additional therapies available including acupuncture and hypnotherapy.

Abit annoyed. I called the doctors yesterday to book an appointment for this morning, the receptionists I spoke to said I was booked in with a nurse at 8:30am. Due to coming from leicester as I looked after my sisters dog while  she's away, I had driven a good hour to get to ashby with the traffic. As I got to the doctors the receptionists on duty said there was no appointments booked for me at all! That there was no appointments available today to come back tomorrow... So I have just driven 15-20 miles for no reason? Because the staff at Ashby doctors clearly didn't do there job properly. Not amused the slightest.

I have always found the reception staff polite, friendly and helpful. I put this down to them being people. If you aggressive and and demanding folks do get a little grumpy.
I have no complaints about my treatment in any area.
I understand that I'm not the only patient and the other patient may be in more urgent need.
I seldom leave reviews but when I saw some of the other comments I felt I should share my experiences.

I have numerous Health Problems that Dr Sanganee picked up on many years ago and recently too. To this present day he's always on the ball with all of my many ailments. I Trust My GP more than The Consultants that I see at The Hospitals which I have to attend on a regular basis.  I get a 5 Star, First Class Service and always have from The Reception staff  and all the way to The Doctors.
