There was something for everyone on the menu, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The drinks selection was just as impressive, with a great range of options to suit all tastes.nnWhat really stood out was how family-friendly the atmosphere is. It’s the perfect place to relax, whether you’re out for a casual meal, a drink with friends, or spending quality time with family. The warm, welcoming environment made the whole experience even better.nnHighly recommend—this pub is a real gem and we’ll definitely be returning!

We were a party of 5. Dean welcomed us warmly & offered us very good service.nEveryone seemed very satisfied with their food choices, all empty plates!nThe pies looked 'proper', encased & topped with pastry with rich gravy served on the side.nThe Gammon & egg appeared to satisfy one of our party.nThe Greek flatbreads with salad were enjoyed topped with grilled chicken.nFor the price & with drinks & a couple of coffees, all in all, a most reasonable lunch. Here again at our local, and honestly, you can’t beat it. The service is always spot on, the atmosphere is warm and genuinely old fashioned in the best way, and the staff are just so friendly and attentive.nnIt really shows having a landlady who truly cares about the place. She’s been here a while now and has brought a real sense of stability and authenticity. There’s no pretence, just a proper, welcoming pub.nnThe food has also come on leaps and bounds lately, such an improvement and really enjoyable every time we visit.

Great dog friendly pub serving good quality food for a reasonable price. They also have promotions like 2 mains for £14.99. They also have good deals/offers on alcohol with a nice selection of cocktails. The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is good. The seating is reasonably comfortable. Highly recommended.
