Went by the reviews and decided, when down there with work, to give it a whirl. They did not disappoint! Possibly the BEST curry I have ever had! Large portion, too. Well, like how they used to be, until a main became to look like a side dish! Well done, guys! You deserve a medal!

Really do not understand why people flock to this place. Yes, the decor is good, but the waiting time can be dreadful! Its not unusual to wait over 1hr 15min for a main course to be served. The staff don't seem to value your custom and the food (despite the so called large portion sizes) isn't particularly exceptional either. They're also dealing with a non-stop line of takeaways that take priority over seated customers. To boot, the place is often uncomfortably rammed which is part and parcel of the problem. There are two/three other Asian resturants all within a few hundred yards Castle Balti ....two of which offer FAR better service, waiting time and (in my opinion) quality of food. Seems people are just drawn to Castle Balti like sheep..... and for no other reason.
