Me and a friend went for ice creams a few weeks ago and sat inside. When inside we didn’t realise the pizza and hot food options. So on Sunday myself and two friends went for pizza and ice cream and were blown away. Not only was the pizza fantastic but the ice cream flavours were out of this world. Even with this fantastic food the service is beyond amazing, I’ve never had such friendly and professional service from anywhere before. The staff are caring, passionate and friendly. If you haven’t been here before you must try it
Recommended by a friend who used to live in Whitley bay as the best place for pizza or ice cream so I popped in today after my walk from Tynemouth. Ordered the Pizza Americano which was lovely with great soft dough and some fries on top. Atmosphere was very relaxed with the bathroom being on the ground floor next to the stairs which was spotless. Highly recommend.
Fabulous ice-cream with so much choice! Quite a long queue but they were serving really fast. Good prices for such excellent ice-cream. It was very difficult to choose - we went with salted caramel, Kinder Bueno and Rocky Road. Delicious!
Some of the best ice cream ever! Always our go to when we fancy a sweet treat. I will often try a new flavour each time but ever since I've had the cherry it's all I get! Highly recommend it to everyone!! They also offer Gluten Free cones for all you coeliacs which is a huge bonus for my partner!
Having seen a queue here for ice creams a few days in a row, we decided to give it a go - was not disappointed, the ice cream was great! We used the takeaway queue, so can't comment on the inside or hot food but for Ice cream it was certainly a win!

It is one of the best ice cream shops in the northeast. Always a great selection of ice cream flavours, pleasant staff, catering for everyone with their vegan choices, and open later than most places.
Visited Di Meo’s for the first time with a friend and it was a lovely place! Love that you can either come for a sweet treat and coffee or you can have a pizza or pasta dish etc. Was very happy to see they had vegan sweet treats as I have a dairy intolerance so I had an oat milk hot chocolate and a chocolate orange vegan cake, both were delicious! Loved the vibe of the place and will definitely come back sometime.
Loved coming here for years but it just gets better and better. Pizzas were gorgeous, fresh and perfectly cooked. Coffee and ice cream just wonderful too. It was busy so we were taken upstairs to the newer area. Lovely vibe great service. Thanks again
What a delicious ice cream place! This is an absolute must visit when you come to the North East and Whitley Bay. You will love the ice cream and the staff are fantastic and happy to guide you through the enormous amount of different flavours. Tonight I had Jaffa cake and Chocolate Brownie and they were both delicious!
