The only place I've managed to find everything I needed in terms of my diy projects! People there were super kind and helped me with even more, then I asked which is good, couse I needed it. Amazing place, very nice people, highly recommend!
Amazing really great products, I work as a fine artist, so I only use small amounts on a regular basis, but they have to be top quality for me to sell my art, and they are.....
I have been a loyal customer of Cass Art since the day it first opened in Birmingham. As an artist, I have conducted numerous workshops there, bringing in many fellow artists and actively promoting Cass Art to all of them. After a long hiatus of shopping online, I decided to visit the shop today, hoping to enjoy the experience. I asked an employee to open the Posca markers case so I could select a few. Out of habit, I attempted to test one, as I have previously encountered dried-up markers. The man at the counter was observing me and, when I mentioned that one seemed not to be working, he yelled at me, insisting that I must purchase it first before testing. This outburst occurred in front of other customers, leaving me feeling humiliated. He even reprimanded the staff member who had assisted me. There were no signs indicating that testing was prohibited, nor were there any visible samples available. In the past, I was always allowed to test the products, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. This individual, however, was unpleasant and unkind. As a result, I will no longer be visiting this Cass Art shop. While paying, I was so distressed that I nearly burst into tears and left without my receipt.
Quick pit stop here to get some face paints which they didn’t have but staff were so nice and knowledgeable especially the guy with the brown curly hair, he knew his thing
The shop was in order and staff are very accomodating and nice.
I visited here last week when I was in Birmingham and I had looked at all the art supplies!! The manager Paul was full of banter and quirks!! Which was very nice to see and made me happy his staff were very welcoming and accommodating! I loved all the art supplies they had, I might even buy off their online store
Lovely shop! I wish it was bigger. The employee is really helpful and always looking for someone in the shop they can help
As soon as we walked in and were instantly greeted with kindness! Personally I was searching for Prismacolor pencils, but they informed me that they don’t sell them as they would cost a lot to import from America. They directed me to a similar brand, Faber-Castell! Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful! They gave me a student discount and a rewards card! I was very impressed and happy I stopped in :
Went in some years ago, and the staff were very helpful. They were very welcoming and would always recommend them for all art as crafts materials.
Bald guy should be fired. Went with a friend to buy some sketchbooks and immediately walked out after hearing him talk about some person being “exotic”. Very weird, racist and uncomfortable. Also felt like we were being closely watched by another member of staff. I’ve been to the store with my mum prior to purchase an easel which was great quality but she also remarked being uncomfortable in the store when we came out. Edit: Spoke to a team member on the phone about this after dropping an email. They offered a welcome back to the store and free gifts. Declined as not comfortable returning.
