Great location -it's in the city centre, easy to find ;, very well stocked and good prices, also friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely pop in again
Rude staff behind the meat section. I understand, sometimes everyone has bad & good day, however there was no customer service from the Lady I asked for help. I do not appreciate staff rolling eyes at me, when I asked to slice the sausage and also rude attitude when I asked about specific amount of ham to be sliced. I do not ask staff to smile, but professional services without making me feel unwelcomed should go without saying. Please take this review into consideration.
Best place to get smoked fish, lots of great products too.
I was looking for some fresh baking yeast and someone suggested to try a polish shop. This one is well stocked up, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English and found me exactly what I was looking for. And reasonably priced too, not like some overpriced shops who target expats. I am not polish myself but will definitely visit again. And now I have installed the polish language pack on my Google image translate, so it should be a bit easier next time. Even though I don't think any translation is necessary for the lovely home-made cakes they also sell in this shop :
Great selection of European mainly Polish foods and regular retail items including drinks, snacks, cheese, Soups etc. The meat counter is well stocked with a brilliant array of sliced meats & sausages. Staff is polite & courteous.
Managed to find some favourite Polish foods which I haven't seen in any other Polish shop in UK. Prices reasonable too.
Very rude and abrupt attitude of shopkeepers on many occasions as well as products sold that are out of use by date. When confronted about it and advised that their food causes people ill they weren't bothered and said they will keep selling anyway. Someone will buy it! Outrageous!!!
They should also be produced in Romania
I'm polish but definitely not recommended this place for any shopping. No customers service at all and post communist atmosphere....shame
