Very rude reception staff with poor communication skills and emotional Intelligence which should be a required skill set when working in this environment. Was rudely shouted at for not wearing a mask without any explanation of the rules or without asking if I was exempt. Was also told by the receptionist that not wearing a mask is a criminal offense which is just not true. Huge wait both in person and on the telephone to book an appointment, sometimes it's that busy on the phone you can't even join the hour queue just to speak to a receptionist and the phone just cuts off. When you do get through its a challenge speaking to a non medically trained person to actually get an appointment booked. Drs and nursers generally really good though and some very qualified medical professionals working here.

Excellent doctors & nurses ruined by the most hideous receptionist. My 80+ year old mother has been trying to get an appointment as her leg is going green after a fall. Several attempts have been made but she still refuses to book her an appointment, the last comment was "what do you expect the doctor to do, go to Boots". My mum then went to Boots and the lovely lady there told my mum to see a doctor immediately. Why a woman like that is working in health care is beyond me, utterly disgusting and I will make every attempt to get her out of that job. Only giving it a 2 star as the TRAINED medical staff have been excellent with my mum for years.

Fantastic surgery and staff. The receptionists and admin staff do such a great job considering the constant pressure that they are under. They are always only too willing to help. Thank you to such a great team, and also for being there throughout the pandemic

Have phoned 80 times this morning for an urgent appointment and cannot connect again last week rang 55 times!!!!

As a Sandbach patient from long before the Primary Care centre opened I have nothing but praise for everyone at Ashfields. From Receptionists and ancillary staff not forgetting the cleaners, Nursing staff and GPs. I have always been treated with respect and kindness and a cheery greeting. During lockdown the phone based consults were truly excellent.

I have never, in the many years I've been there, had a clear diagnosis and as soon as I moved area, they couldn't wait to get rid of me like I am just a number, even when the doctor asked me to book an appointment. I was made feel like a criminal for trying to book it , as requested by the doctor! Also, you are lucky to speak to a receptionist who doesn't sound like they hate their job and speaks over you with no empathy.

Have to say fantastic service above and beyond what I expected. All staff were so polite and helpful I honestly couldn’t thank them enough

I am Disgusted in this surgery They have failed to see to my autistic six-year-old daughters health, She has been waiting for A doctor to help with a iron deficiency which is extremely low due to sensory eating she is limited on PediaSure plus milk and a dry biscuit and has been for the past two years , me as a mother I have tried everything in my power to help my child I am not a health professional I need their help and all I get is fobbed off I am extremely upset because my daughter can’t enjoy school due to her being so tired she should be in full days and he’s only in from nine till one because she gets so tired  She has been ill all over the summer  holidays in and out of hospital hospital even said that they can’t understand why the doctors haven’t prescribed anything else for her iron, I’m still waiting for the doctor to fill her forms in for a disability badge I went today to see if the forms were filled in as it’s been over four weeks and they told me the doctor hasn’t signed them when I asked for the forms back they said they’ve lost them now I have to wait to apply for more forms and try and get a different health professional to fill the forms in for my daughter

The rudest receptionist. Walked in for an appointment, already feeling quite apprehensive given the seriousness of my appointment.  She raised her voice at me for not wearing a mask no signs to show masks must be worn or spare masks at the door. No prior notification to say I must wear a mask / understanding of being exempt  I went to try and continue upstairs to my appointment, following instructions via text

My daughter phoned me today in tears because of the rude receptionist. My daughter phoned up to enquire about joining the practice and was told she would need to go into the surgery to fill in a form, no mention was given about ID needed. Once there she was greeted by a rude receptionist and was only then told she needed two forms of ID. All my daughter wants is to see a doctor but this has put her off this surgery all together
