You find some great bargains and they do help where they can. Improved massively over the decades. Core staff are great only one working there atm who should leave his personal sense of humour at home. Buy-back options can be beneficial in times of real need but can also become a bit of a spiral to fall into. Great to buy/sell there though. Research your own best prices first then check the store/take in your items
Popped in for a game controller, they had quite a few for a reasonable price of £24.99. Bit dirty but nothing a good clean won't harm. Friendly service and lots of sales assistants around ready to help.
I’ve been a regular with Cash converters Stockport. I don’t have any complainZ with the service I’ve alwayZ been provided by The majority of the staff who are brill. But I’m gonna say that the managerZ are also very helpful and understanding. So trying alwayZ to get the best deal for me aka customer. Keep it up and you will alwayZ have customers being happy and pleased in your services provided. Thank you Gary the man with great customer service and care. Purchased a excellent Japanese/Chinese ornament a real standout item,it was really inexpensive price & in excellent condition, I bought it on there web shop so it had to be posted,it turned up very fast & wrapped very well
Like many branches and other similar stores, I think some of the prices are extremely unreasonable. However, that said if you are willing to look, and make repeat visits, you can sometimes find good value second hand products that are worth the investment

Have been a very loyal customer at this so called business, but in my experience of having the utmost appallingly, atrociously and most DEFINITELY condescendingly 'service' that these emphatic money grabbing broad daylight robbers have had the audacity to provide me with. SHAME ON YOU!! Here's a couple of FACTUAL examples: Today Friday 14.01.2022. I went into the Stockport store with a phone boxed everything included and wireless Bluetooth speakers I asked for £80 for the lot selling outright bear in mind I normally get £75 anyway and they point blank begrudged me an extra £5. Here's why they're nothing but money extortionists, they'd sell that phone for well over £100 that's not including the wireless Bluetooth speakers I had to sell them also, and they only gave me £10 for them! Another example of them money extortionists: I sold them a 55inch smart OLED TV they scammed me with the most UNFAIREST of prices with a most PITIFUL of offers: only just above £100!! And they were selling TVs that weren't even smart TVs and not even as big as a 55 inch for well over £500!!! You can go online and get brand new TVs smart or whatever you want including free delivery for less half of what them cash extortionists charge. You expect me to believe that them cash extortionists are even remotely what the claim they are 'FAIR' ABSOLUTELY not a chance in hell is there one iota of truth in that claim WHATSOEVER!! Their uniform should be a black balaclava, black and White striped jumper and they should be shackled to a ball and chain. They're nothing but money grabbing broad daylight robbers! And furthermore they ABSOLUTELY Thrive on and take the utmost of enjoyment in taking advantage of the disabled and vulnerable. They should be shut down or better still burnt to the ground! Will never EVER be heading to cash converters sorry meant cash extortionists! AGAIN! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDED!!! Unless you want to be extorted and blatantly robbed!!
The staff member I came across was not helpful. I asked if they sold a Nintendo DS and was told to find it in the corner and someone would be with me in a minute. No one arrived. When I approached the same person again, they immediately told me that they only had a broken DS that could never be repaired. Why couldn't they have just told me in the first place? Drawing shop signs seems to be a priority at this branch. Waste of time.
i bought a ps2 bundle with a very nice guy at the stockoport chain but when i went to play the game, i could not so i returned it back. so i went back to the store and they very kindly checked it and exchanged for one that worked and as a sorry present, they gave me the A free game THANKS CASH CONVERTERS
