Still a decent selection of high street stores and smaller shops. The ceiling is falling in at many locations within the shopping arcade and the parking nearby is more expensive than Gunwharf Quays, which is quite the achievement for some wasteland that used to be the tricorn.
What a great shopping centre! In my 45 years of living in Southampton and visiting Portsmouth, we had never visited the cascades. Its a Lovely bright open shopping centre, with loads of shops bonus point for a primark! A couple of nice places to grab a coffee and easy access to the main shopping street. I'll definitely be back!
Has the ability to be better. Roof leaks and empty shops with the world's most expensive csrpark makes it a trip I don't do often. Cheaper and better to go to Southampton as the area is nicer and not so run down. Needs some major investment
CASCADES SHOPPING CENTRE Nicely set out with a good variety of stores, clean toilets, a couple of places to eat but no large food court any more Boswells is a lovely, popular eatery with very efficient staff. Next, New Look, Quiz, Deichmann, H&M, Primark, TK Maxx, Sports Direct and many independent smaller shops within this complex.
Perfect shopping centre not massive but it has everything you need
I walked through, whilst attending an appointment at Spec savers nearby. Thought the art installation was good, see picture.
A good few empty units and a lack of atmosphere. In its favour it does have some very interesting shops like the repair shop. Handy for parking and to kill an hour on a rainy day.
Went to TK Maxx and also visited the juice bar there for a coffee. The juice bar is called BLEND and it's run by Michael. He is such a nice guy that he deserves your support. Why always support the large cafes and their rich owners? He serves great coffee, tea and ice-cream. The arcade mall is very clean and there are plenty of decent shops. I highly recommend the juice bar for its coffee. The owner has just started a new business and needs support.
Nice shipping area with lots of brand for eating, shipping and leisure activities. NCP car parking at the Portsmouth market place is too expensive. Even more expensive than Gunwharf Shopping center car park.
It's quite a nice shopping centre, but the only big problem is about signals no wifi no SIM signals. Hope they can find a way to fix it.
