Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay over, however, although we have played the course before, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit again. A lovely warm welcome from the bar staff who as well as being friendly, were also very efficient. Great Sausage sandwich and coffee. Very friendly in the Pro shop. Course was in good condition for the time of year and the greens quick. Sadly we didn't have the best round of golf, nothing to do with the course Back in the clubhouse made up for it though. Once again the staff were smashing and the food was first class. Would always come again. It's a gem!
The staff at this place are amazing but Shannon is absolutely exceptional! She went above and beyond to help us out in so many ways when our car broke down just as we arrived for our weekend away. If you like a friendly face, some one who will find you a way, she's your person! As well as this, the room was great and well decorated, the big hot powerful shower was super and the bathroom modern and spacious! The food was good too for evening and breakfast. Free parking and secure lodge.
Visited Carus Green golf today, good driving range and helpfull professional golf staff, who offer teaching with good technical aids. The clubhouse restaurant offers good food and has good views over the golf course to the lakeland fells offering a great place for lunch. The golf course looks good. I would certainly recommend a visit for golf or food.
Took my mother in here for a birthday lunch. The staff were amazing attentive and friendly, couldn’t of been better. We all received our lunch at the same time and it also was excellent, a big thank you to all concerned for a lovely afternoon out!

Worst Christmas party I've ever been to and I've been to a LOT! For some stupid reason they decided to show the England football match and the noise was deafening - you either go to a Christmas party or you go to a football match. They crammed too many people/tables in and the staff couldn't cope - we must have had about 20minutes/half an hour between each course, we didn't get our sweet till after 10pm. There was no coffee and the food was mediocre. Really poor value for money.
Sunday lunch is fabulous here..fantastic friendly service to....so impressed with the food and prices were so reasonable....I had scallops and then lamb Henry...the lamb was cooked to perfection..highly recommendService: 5/5
Went for Sunday lunch absolutely excellent as always . Beef best I've had and the biggest Yorkshire pudding others had pork and lamb both said fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful highly recommended.
I was here from 7th-9th August 2022 for a golfing trip with 5 friends on the two day golfers deal. Booking was easy enough and straight forward, booked tee off times for the three days at the same time, staff very helpful and friendly. Arrived and played our first round, course was in amazing condition, greens well manicured. Accommodation was clean, tidy and spacious for myself and my mate I was sharing with. Bar and grill were clean and tidy, bar/grill staff were helpful and friendly. Only issue was that the deal included breakfast and dinner. We got vouchers towards breakfast and dinner. This shouldn't be the case, please fix. Apart from that, I would thoroughly recommend it, , staff great, accommodation great, course beautiful
Was there this time last year the course is manicured to the hilt loved it. The club house couldn't fault it the bar staff were friendly polite and nothing was to much. I will take my wife there just to sample it it was a pleasure from start to finish. Hope this place lives long and prospers it deserves it
