Popped in for a Monday night treat to extend Father's Day celebrations and had the most wonderful, relaxing evening! It was the first time we've been to The Cart & Horses and we were really impressed with the venue - there was a great choice of seating options - we had a table in the covered outside area - lovely lighting, music and ambience. Liv was super friendly and efficient - she made our dog feel especially welcome, providing fresh water and treats as soon as she had seated us. We were looked after by Tom, who was attentive, knowledgeable, efficient and very friendly. The food was great thank you kitchen team - we had a delicious fish pie and chicken schnitzel followed by a chocolate bomb and ice-cream, all highly recommended by us! Thank you so much for a lovely, relaxing start to the week after a very hot day at work, I'm sure the whole team must have been feeling the heat but your service was impeccable, we will be back!
If I could give this lovely pub 10 stars I would. Stopped by on the off chance on a Monday! after a dog walk to a lovely welcome, warm atmosphere and a fantastic yummy lunch. We had a lovely corner with lots of room for our three dogs. It’s an immaculate setting and everything is thought of, even down to the beautiful hand cream in the loos! Special thanks to Adam for his fab service. We can’t wait to return!
Great pub food. Service is brilliant. Atmosphere was nice, warm, and comfortable. Good lighting and calm environment Sunday evening.nnI had the beef burger with bacon and fries and burger sauce. It was delightful. The fries was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef patties were juicy and the flavour are just perfect.nnOnly downside would be the price. Portion size is a little smaller than expected, albeit presentable.
Had a really lovely time here. The quality of the food was excellent, and the portions were very decent. The place is beautiful, the staff were polite and professional, and the service was great. I was very happy with my experience and would definitely come again
We had a Sunday roast here and it did not disappoint. The roast itself was outstanding and full of flavour. The staff all seemed really happy and are clearly managed with kindness and respect. Our entire experience from entering the restaurant was outstanding and professional. Thank you for a lovely evening
