Great place for all ages and mobility to visit. Have a family picnic and enjoy cafe and ice cream. I enjoyed the circular reservoir dam walk. Lots of water activities and don't forget cycling. Severn Trent have really got this place right. A great day out.
We had a full day out at Carsington Water.nLovely views, lots of birds to see, interesting information centre. We parked at Millfields car park and walked in along the dam wall. Well worth a visit on a dry day. Our boys enjoyed the large playground too
STUNNING!!nnFantastic day out. Either for activities, picnic or just to walk around.nnOn a sunny day the views are wonderful. The visitor centre area is very nice. Seems quite modern and very clean. There is a water fountain in the courtyard area which is fantastic too.nnImage attached at the end to show some of the activities.
I always love a good eight mile walk around here. A few bird hides to sit, have food and watch birds from. Great visitors centre with nice food and friendly staff.nWe do come here and walk around every year. This time it took us two and half hours, that included a quick trip to three hides.
Great place as a base when visiting Carsington Water. There are shops, toilets and places to eat. Lots of picnic areas to sit outside too. All the routes are well signposted and dog friendly
