A fantastic sailing club, spent the last 2 weekends completing RYA Sailing qualifications. Thoroughly enjoyed the courses, the club is very welcoming, and the instructors were friendly, professional, and the best outdoor course I have been on. If your interested in RYA qualifications this is the place to go. Thank you
The team were amazing pulling together a bespoke advanced RYA module for 3 boys all post RYA Stage 4. Meg their instructor was an absolute star - got the best out of the boys and brought their technical skills on brilliantly, plus some excellent spinnaker and race development - thank you!!!
A welcoming club with helpful, young and friendly staff. A group of 6 of us had a session organised for sailing, and had a great experience on the water with Emily. The setting of Carsington Lake is beautiful, and the sailing was amazing. Megan was very swift with the organising of the activity for us, and made it very slick to get started on the day. The three-hour session was a good length; not too long to get cold but long enough to have a good time. The sailing equipment was in excellent condition, and the wetsuits were virtually brand new. We were very satisfied and would definitely return! Thank you :
Superb sailing club in what must be the best water in the Midlands. Most important there is a large and vibrant RYA Sailability section with a wonderful community spirit. This gives support to those who need extra physical or other support in order to enjoy sailing, or to learn to sail with that extra support.nnClubhouse has an excellent galley service - good, honest sailing club food, well cooked and well presented. Heated changing rooms, competitive racing, and excellent tuition in sailing and powerboating. The Youth development is great, too.nnGreat views across the lake from the clubhouse, great chat when off the water.nnI looked at several local clubs before selection Carsington Sailing Club. This club has all the facilities I wanted, and more besides.
A great place for our sons to begin their RYA sail training journey. Thanks to Sally, Meg, Dan and Stephen for their welcome and professionalism.
