Fantastic time was invited as a guest ,with my wife for Ladies Captains night,a night to remember ,the meal the bar ,and the service was second to none the staff so friendly , First class service from start to finish , highly recommend
Restaurant 4* food and service cant fault. The first and last time we wil be back though. The bar where we where seated is a different story , I never knew of no dress code untill i had to be asked to remove my cap and asked was my shirt a rangers shirt, , as no caps or football shirts where allowed I wasn't wearing a football top,even though the week before i was told united and liverpool was playing, and place had footy shirts both sides , her resopnse only special occasions then they can be wore ! Then while being showed the rules like a child some elderly rude women by the name of flo butted in , also remove your cap blood was boiling at this point , we where about to walk out but food arrived , felt like we where being looked upon the whole time , steer clear P.s flo think it's time to hang up the boots
In on Sunday. Super cheap £12 Two courses you can either have a starter or desert with Main meal I went for veg soup starter and cod and chips main. Food was lovely great atmosphere. Carvery also Available. Nice location and views
Had my mother's 70th birthday dinner here and the evening was a success. The food was delicious, well presented and arrived on time. The children's meals were substantial with a good variety. Wine menu had a good selection at reasonable prices. The staff were brilliant and coped very well considering they had 3 birthday parties and other diners to contend with. The restaurant manager was particularly helpful in organising the birthday celebrations. Would certainly dine at the restaurant again.

Heard the catering staff had changed and worried the standards had changed. It hadn't four of the party had surf and turf all four declared steaks were perfectly cooked to each persons requirements. , one had a delicious beef burger which was rated outstanding by a burger connoisseur 16 year old and the one child in group had lurverly chicken gougons. Nobody rushed us and we had a lovely evening. Thank you staff and chef
Fantastic dining. Delicious food. Clean plate every time. From the mushroom starters , to the trio of meats main course.. Cannot fault any of it. And good large portions aswell. Highly recommended.
Wasn't at all apprehensive about coming here after learning the catering staff had changed hands but I'm sorry to say I was very disappointed. The menu didn't have half of the variety as the last one and the food just wasn't up to par pun intended. We both had the 10oz ribeye looked quite small to me to be cooked medium well, they came well done. The chunky chips were ends of chips that must have been cooked several times as they were stale, and came with two button mushrooms and one onion ring, the sauce comes in a ramekin and we had to ask for another, also asked for veg and I still left hungry but I wasn't ordering a dessert as I felt we had just already wasted £16.95 each on the main. This was the best place for food in carrickfergus but sadly I can't say that now. On the upside, our server was a lovely chatty young girl who had asked if we had been coming for a while before the take over and we told her we had and always recommended it to friends and family. On this occasion I had to tell my sisters that they wouldn't like it anymore as it has changed completely in my book
First time there since being taken over and have to say food was delicious portions good and price hasnt changed much. Few things changed n taken of menu but overall a great place still. Will def be back
