We stopped here for lunch on our way to Inverness airport. It’s a charming small cafe with a decent selection of both light and larger items. We were both just really in the mood for a light bite, and had soup my partner had a sandwich with his as well. The soup, which was a mushroom and tarragon soup, was very tasty and filled us up nicely for our flight home. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and attentive.
Have stopped here many times and the food and service have never disappointed, will definitely be back.
Stopped by for lunch after cycling part of Route 7 today bike racks around the back!. Had a lovely soup and sandwich deal - good range on the menu with vegetarian and vegan options broccoli soup with roast veg and homemade houmous sandwich pictured. Menu also featured brunch options and more substantial mains. The selection of cakes also looked amazing! Very friendly, attentive service. A great place to stop off to refuel or while taking in the Old Packhorse Bridge down there road.
A nice village Bistro near the famous Bridge. Food was nice and venue comfortable. Excellent sausage rolls with chips!
In for a delicious late lunch yesterday lunch finishes 3pm so just made it! when passing through the village. Friendly staff, excellent food especially homemade chips!. Very impressed by adherence to current COVID guidelines. Would definitely visit again when in the area.
Had breakfast here and stopped for a meal on our return journey from the Highlands. I was on my motorcycle and it was raining very hard . I left my water proofs under their cycle shed...it was that bad. The staff were great and the food was fantastic. If I'm ever that way again I will definitely make it a priority stop. Yummy Grub,
I've wanted to come here for a long time, and it did not disappoint. Fast to be seated, even on a hot bank holiday Monday, great friendly service, and fresh highland food. What not to like! I normally stay in Aviemore, but would make the trip here again if I'm in the highlands. Highly recommend.
Modern and welcoming cafe. Been visiting this cafe for the last few years as we are local. Cake sizes used to be far too small, however they are more of a normal size. They price themselves higher than others in the apparent belief they are more superior than competitors. Using local produce for their cooked breakfasts, but that's not uncommon these days. However coffee and cake is absolutely fine - but nothing special.
What a fantastic gem of a cafe! Had the fritters-they are airy, flavorful and light. Seriously good stuff! The desserts also are wonderful. Pretty sure they don't have anything less than wonderful on the menu.
Ordered poached eggs with salmon on toast. Really great food, lovely service and the cakes are to die for! Hand sanitisers are everywhere and the staff all are wearing masks correctly. Hopefully we will visit soon
