I believe the practice has been sold and you can clearly tell , I was advised I am unable to book a routine check up because I haven't attended the surgery since 2019. I have made numerous calls and sent numerous emails confirming the reason for this is because of the Covid-19 pandemic , and whenever I have called in the past I've been told they are not conducting routine check ups at that moment in time. I was asked to send an email explaining the above , this email was sent on the 9th January 2023 and a follow up email on the 18th January 2023 , I've not had a response from either email. I have called numerous times chasing this up , I am told this is being looked into , yet I don't receive any update..... I've been using this practice since I was a young child and I've never had any issues , it appears the new ownership may well and truly be the reason for the dramatic drop in standards.
I attended with my three children and was delighted with the service that we received. After a long break from seeing the dentist due to COVID we were contacted to say that routine appointments were starting again with children’s appointments first as they were more of a priority. We were booked in very quickly with a locum dentist who is helping to clear the backlog of appointments. The dentist was amazing so kind, informative and enthusiastic and took the time to explain the problem of frequency of drinks and snacks to my children and the effects they have on teeth. He gave my 17 year old daughter a good oral health talk about how to clean and the areas being missed. I am so grateful that my children were given appointments as I realise the strain on the nhs at the moment. Thank you for a great experience and for the good advice which is often taken more seriously when coming from a professional.
Dentist always late or kept in waiting room for ages [sat still waiting 20 minutes after my appointment time ] Waiting months for appointments Book appointment then dentist cancels due to the dentist not working that time so why book me in at that time ! Very dated practice Need more dentists there or dentist that works full time
9 o clock appointment no dentist there hes running late not just once few times. Longest I waited was 2 hour 10 minutes.
New dentist is always running late, not just 5 or 10 minutes nearly 2 hours! On two separate occasions for both my children we have waited for over 2 hours.
New dentist is so lovely, patient and knowledgable
They are brilliant I needed some false teeth they made them and they fitted great
