Visited Carpet right today for some wood flooring. We were undecided and Simon gave us great service and a great price. Will definitely be back for more flooring.
Bought a small remnant for £59. With grip rods, cheap underlay and brass strip and fitting it ended up costing nearly £200. When we checked the receipt at home we discovered a £30 shipping charge. We phoned to query this and were told this was a delivery charge we live around the corner. We explained that had the charge been explained to us at point of sale we would have put it in our own car or gone elsewhere. Salesman was extremely rude about it . Waited an hour for a call back from a manager who clearly wasn't interested and kept saying that this charge is explained 'most' of the time! Fitters also left a carpet tack under the carpet. Awful company and will never use again.
Been to Carpet Right tees bay park today .A lovely mam called Ste went out of his way to help us. .This is the 3rd time hes helped us ,so thank you for you kind help. And Alan chipped in with some fiunny banter . Well done lads
