Great country park in picturesque surroundings of the North Coast. Variety of walking trails with differing levels of challenge. Fun packed kids area with many family oriented activities. Cafe provides good food and parking is easy to locate.
We visited off season but it the area was lovely and we enjoy the maze too. I can see it been a great place for kids in the summer. Cafe staff were very friendly too. Would go back.
Perfect for an one night stay with a motorhome, good facilities, only not grey water disposal place for campers who need a drain in the floor. You'll need a hose. No privacy on your camping box.
The location is excellent and there is loads to do at the park, unfortunately I think our daughter is just a bit young for most of it at only 2 and a half. Also we had our dog and quite a few of the areas on site are not dog friendly.The price is good given that there is so much to do on site. My main issue was the toilet block. We stayed there Thurs-Sat and the showers were not cleaned once. I used the same cubicle 3 times and the same balls of hair lay on the floor for the duration. Gross, especially given that it was fully booked. Secondly, we were pitch 30. Think of it as the centre of a very busy roundabout. My main worry was the proximity to the bins but this wasn't the issue. We were circled by kids on bikes from 8am-10pm. It was so noisy and chaotic. They lit upon us every time we sat outside our motorhome, especially when we had food out. I love kids and have worked with them for years, but this was too much. No adult supervision. At one point a child just climbed into our motorhome for a nosey while we were eating breakfast. No thanks!
The 4 of us called in for an hour whilst waiting for our ferry back to Scotland, we could have easily stayed significantly longer, lots of lovely gardens to walk around, plus a small gift shop and café with lots of indoor and outdoor seating with fabulous sea views. The £4 parking fee was a bargain as the only entry fee.
This is a really nice place to visit with your family and particularly the dog. Great views of the sea from the cafe balcony. Coffee wasn't too bad and we shared a fifteen tray bake.. not quite as good as my mum's but it was tasty. The walled garden was very nice. We didn't do the longer walks as we were there to see the walled garden and to grab a cuppa. I understand the kids area and the longer walks are a great experience.
Wonderful family friendly park with fantastic views. Entry is free, there's a shop, cafe and kids amusements. Recommend taking cash for the kids amusements/rides.
I love this place. It is great for a walk any time of the year. Great facilities and dog friendly.
Lovely park plenty for kids to do. If you want to pay for car parking when leaving you have to take your ticket to the visitor centre and pay there.
Grat for the kids Great Park and great for getting out for a walk. Car parking prices are extortionate I was there for 1 and 1/2 hours and it cost £4 for the parking, it's cheaper to park in Belsfat city centre.
