What a wonderful place. I was seriously surprised when they told us that there was a table available for the very next day. Arriving up a very narrow track to a small car park. We rang the bell at the entrance door and was greeted by a waitress. We were lead to our table and given our menus. The food was quick to arrive, very well presented and tasted beautiful. While we were waiting for our starters, we were informed that the roof area was open and if we wished, we could take in the spectacular views of Redruth and the surrounding old tin mines. What a fabulous place. Great food, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful waitresses. Thank you for a lovely evening
Absolutely wonderful. The most atmospheric restaurant I have ever visited. I would say right up there with the Cliff in Barbados. The food was amazing. The staff attentive without being overly so. The castle itself was wonderful and the highlight the roof terrace. Thank you for a wonderful eveningFood: 5/5
What a unique experience! The road to access the castle was extremely bumpy due to pot holes so glad we got a taxi as opposed to driving ourselves. We were also fortunate to be squeezed in as my other half had booked the wrong date Beautiful setting, excellent food and fantastic service, a fabulous meal and memorable dining experience. They only accept payment by cash, cheque, PayPal or bank transfer.
Beautiful setting in a castle and the hospitality was 100% we went for the set menu expecting authentic food but not knowing it was planned on a plain taste with soup, chicken beans and potatoes and cheesecake. Food tasted OK but a little disappointed as we booked the wrong menu wanting more middle Eastern cuisine. The setting is absolutely breathtaking.
Here is really beautiful place to have a meal, its a very old castle perched ontop of the hill overlooking Redruth and beyond towards the coastline. The food is really good here and authentic too. There are lots of choices for Starters and Main Dishes and good Arabic coffee to finish off. Staff were also very polite and friendly. Great for some photo shots as well. 10/10
Beautiful setting, magical experience. Loved it. Food and staff excellent. Our new favourite place. Highly recommend for those who can appreciate the energy and history of this very special location and restaurant.
Looks like a great place to visit for dinner, unfortunately I was only walking past. Menu looks good. Great location Would love to give better reviews once I've eaten there.
Charming small castle in the countryside of cornwall. Make sure you see it in daylight. Great views. Food is good mediteranean fare. Service is fast but could be friendlier. Worth a detour for romantic dinner.Food: 4/5
We absolutely loved our evening at the castle, the road to the castle is very narrow but we love that it is still so original and quirky with a fabulous view from the roof, there was a good choice on the menu and the food was very good, we will definitely visit again
