As much as I love going here and have done for many years, it is generally lacking in some areas that could be improved upon. I will start with the pros: The staff are really friendly and the service is great with a lot of seating for large groups, easy access for wheelchairs with the disabled facilities next to the entrance making it extremely friendly to people with certain disabilities. There is a pool table and a couple of fruit machines as well as a jackpot. Now for the cons: unless you are a regular, expect any choice you put on the jukebox to be frowned upon by the old regulars of which there are many, which will result on the music being turned down which I do think is rather unfair. The atmosphere can be lacking due to both these reasons. The dartboard was removed so your options are limited to pool and gambling. The hours aren't very easy for non regulars to remember as they close through the afternoon but are open all day others which complicates matters. There is WiFi but it's the kind you need to login to through your browser which I personally never find up to snuff. The car park is tiny, with room for many 3/4 cars maximum at a push. There are no offers on drinks ever, no food served even though they have a fully functional kitchen reserved for mainly function nights and parties, also there are no cocktails. All in all I always have a good night here but have to deduct 2 stars only in the hopes they see this review and maybe think about improving certain things. Would I recommend a night out here? It depends, if you want a rowdy night surrounded by people, not at all. If you have your friends with you and you are only interested in being rowdy with them, definitely yes!
