Great food and great service! I booked a large table for my wife's birthday and they went above and beyond to help me make it special for her. They went and got banners and balloons for me as I didn't have time on the day of her booking and when we were there, they put us in a nice spot away from rest of restaurant which made it feel more private. We received some beautiful complimentary bread while we waited for starters. I will definitely be back as I'm very happy with everything! Highly recommended!
The food was good, the service was even better, it was all priced right, what more to ask for. The restaurant has a very chill atmosphere. There seems to be a decent number of vegetarian options on the menu. I received complimentary bread sticks while I was waiting for my main. I would definitely go back there, thanks!Food: 5/5
Visited during December whilst staying at a hotel with my boyfriend and to date this is still the best Italian we’ve had. The service was quick and consistent, staff were lovely and the food was DELICIOUS definitely will be travelling out of town to visit again! We had our lunch at Carlucci during a day trip to Dunfermline. A Pre-theatre menu was available and it only costed £25 for 3 courses. The starters and mains we had were surprisingly good. Loved both the starters - the mussels in a tasty white wine sauce were fresh and juicy, while the fried calamari got crispy batter and the squid rings were still tender in texture. And we ordered pasta for both the mains. The spaghetti carbonara was done well, the sauce was silky and creamy enough while the spaghetti was firm and slightly chewy. And the lasagna was really cheesy and flavourful with the tomato sauce. The tiramisu were less impressive though, it was decent but we had tried better ones around Scotland. Good wine and the waitresses were super friendly.
Probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever been. First, the service was the best one I had in a very long time! The 3 waitress are fantastic : Second, the food is sooo good, I can't recommend it enough And third and one of the most important factors for me is the amazing and huge vegan menu this restaurant has... I will be back, thank you so much Maria and the rest of the girls in the restaurant, you guys are great
So we had the pre theatre menu & some prosecco. Lovely food, very authentic & great service from two lovely waitresses. We did ask for a 2nd bottle of prosecco but the table was booked so we left & went to the 7kings. We will definitely be back
Always great food, great service too. You are always made to feel so welcome, it's definitely my favourite restaurant in Dunfermline. Even the take out service is great, food arrives on time and still hot.Food: 5/5
Unfortunately the food tasted very unfresh. The seafood pasta was so disappointing and I was looking forward to it, everything tasted frozen and like it had cost £2 to make and charged £17 for this pasta. However the servers are so lovely and caring and you cannot fault the waitresses, very nice people just not great food :
What a lovely place this is, the staff were so friendly, very polite. The food is amazing. Dietary restrictions: I had GF minestrone soup, it was so good, I also had GF pizza definitely a place to go if you are a Coeliac & love pizza
