Great place to visit. Wonderful experience for all family, old and young. Kids love donkeys and the beautiful garden. Castle wall walk is unforgettable experience. The staff incredibly friendly and helpful. We'll definitely return.
It felt like I travelled back in time. The structures are still standing. One way system in place. Museum was very informative and there are literature or maps everywhere to explain what you're looking at or where you are. It's one nice piece of the wonderful puzzle called history.
Worth visiting, it was an amazing trip to the Castle . It is strategically placed in the middle of the island, you climb the tower you can see great views of the island. They have two cute donkeys in the picnic area. The museum was closed during my visit due to COVID-19. One of the notable castles that I have been to.
Such a fantastic place to visit. I would recommend to anyone here on a holiday or living here. The kids love it. Rich in history and feeling.
Great castle with tremendous history - who knew bowling greens were so big 400 years ago. All kept in very good condition - given C19 they could with much better signage and enforce mask wearing as people were wondering around...
I visited the Carisbrooke Castle ghost tour during the Halloween season, which was really fun age16+. The tour lasted around an hour and the guide was very knowledgeable, he shared lots of interesting stories. It was nice to see the castle at night all lit up, very atmospheric.
This is a beautiful castle. The staff were lovely too and really made it a great experience. It's worth visiting if you're in the area.
A brilliant day even during covid. The staff were really friendly and helpful and all sensible precautions were taken. Can't fault it. The castle itself is lovely too, the walks around the walls give great views and seeing the well mentioned in Moonfleet was brilliant for my boys.
