Thank you very much to Nigel and the guys for their fantastic service this week. They arrived right on time, worked tirelessly, were polite and courteous. Our heavy marble table was carefully moved without any damage and they even helped put my little girls bed together when we got to the other end! Would highly recommend- superb value for money!

Guys on the day were really nice and worked hard, but have had 2 issues with the move. 1. We are packed up and loaded on the van by 11 am - great, I thought. Having booked the day off work I thought I'd be able to spend time unpacking... but they had double booked us with another job that day and hadn't told us. They only turned up at our new house just before 6pm. During their absent time they didn't answer the phone at all so we had no idea what was going on. 2. Our TV table was broken during the course of the move and we are yet to have a response regarding insurance 2 weeks later!

The property i purchased was my second home but would be the first time moving from house to house so i have never used a removal company before. I did the usual of searching google for a removal company in my area and had a few quotes. One company came down and quoted me with a box lorry 8.5t and did my due diligence and can a last company which was Care Move. The lady came to the house, viewed the property with all its items and agreed a price with some dismantle and reassemble. Said it would be a days work and they will gets us moved in no matter what and she will send 3/4 people down on the day. Great we said and booked it. Care Move called my wife the night before and said that they dont have much on and can they start packing some parts of the house now, we were happy to do so and agreed. I came home to a half empty house and was excited the next day as i had booked a day off work to ensure it went smooth. The move day came and they arrived about 9.30 in the box van. They started straight away with the remaining items and a couple of hours later a luton van arrived with two more people so we had 5 people moving us out (i helped a bit too!). By about 1pm we had fully packed our 3 bed detached and they went on to wait outside the new house. It came to about 3pm ish (2 hours later) until we finally had our keys then an issue started to arise. The lead guy mentioned something that if they didnt finish by 5pm, it was £10 per head per hour. My heart sank as i knew it was too good to be true! No way were going to get unpacked in 2 hours and now we had to fork out extra for 5 people! I knew i should have stuck with the other company, i guess this is how they make their money by conning people like this. My wife got the on the phone to the lady who came around and said that you saw the amount of stuff to be moved and you did not mention ONCE that after 5pm its £10 per head per hour and they instead of 3 people being sent, it was 5!!!!!! So i called in some family to help do their job so that we could get done before being extorted begun. The guys seemed to slow down and argue between themselves on how they were getting home and that they didnt want to be there past 5 and that due to the lead guy who drives the box van was busy assembling, no one could move the van off the drive so they could unload the luton!!!!!!!!!!!! How ridiculous!! Had to wait longer and even the other guys were getting annoyed, like someone couldnt just switch assembling for 2 minutes. So in the end we were done about 7pm!! Was absolutely ridiculous and the lady on the phone wasnt having any of it and it was in the T&Cs (it wasnt). Then tried to say take it to the solicitors who caused the delay. BEWARE OF THIS CON! I wouldnt use this company again. The three stars for this review is purely for the valiant effort the removers put in especially Solomon. Cant stress about him enough, guy was excellent.

The men on the day were great! They got on with the job, and was amazed how quick they were both packing up and unloading! Nothing was to much trouble, if we wanted something moved to another part of house it was done! they really went above and beyond in the help they gave, were so polite and friendly and really took the stress out of the day! Bernadette you have a great team!!
