Wonderful farm holiday. Great location. Easy acess to beaches and scenic Dorset coastline. The owner showed our kids around  the farm and explained about the work involved.Rooms: 4/5

We were three generations of a family between the ages of 3 months and 60 years, staying over Christmas and this accommodation was ideal for our needs. We appreciated the welcome Christmas card and Mulled wine on arrival and the Christmas tree was also a pleasant touch. I was a little reticent having read some of the previous reviews but nothing spoiled our time here. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and having two ovens was ideal for cooking Christmas dinner. Maybe one long table would be ideal but again having two together was fine for the 9 of us and the TV in the kitchen was useful as the children could play and watch TV in the lounge uninterrupted. All the bedding was clean and ironed, and some towels provided which was fine as we weren’t expecting any.  The upstairs bedroom was a little cooler than the others but I understand heating work had been recently undertaken and it was just teething issues. A minor thing would be a mirror near a plug socket in the downstairs twin room. We had 4 cars between us and no problem parking them outside the location. The games barn was great, the kids loved the space, which was ideal for their new remote control toys, and the skittles and Table Tennis were well utilised. It’s a barn so flooring is a little uneven so wouldn’t recommend the Pool and Snooker though! The Hot Tub was also well used, and we found it to be clean and a lovely warm temperature. In fact I noticed it the owner checking it several times whilst we were there. Charmouth, Bridport and West Bay were all only a short car journey away. Yes it is an older property, but as I stated at the beginning with young boisterous children over the Christmas Period it was ideal and we may well return.

This is a fabulous place to stay where animal care and welfare is at the very centre of all they do. We stayed at Courthouse Dairy; The house was clean, comfortable, well equipped and we loved the hot tub. Friends visiting with us, this is our third stay!  Please be aware this business and family has been targeted and slandered in recent days, quite unfairly. It should have no bearing on your decision to stay here.

Fabulous! A true rural experience. Well appointed accommodation in the most beautiful part of the country. Excellent for walking, exploring. I'm biased - I was born near here but moved away to work 40 odd years ago - it's lovely to come back.

Lovely place to stay, clean comfortable and wonderful countryside views, great games barn and hot tub. Lovely owners very helpful.
