I recently travelled through Cardiff Central Station and was truly impressed by the experience. The station is clean, well-organised, and easy to navigate, but what really stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive, offering assistance to all passengers, especially those with disabilities. They made sure I had everything I needed, from help with boarding to ensuring I was comfortable for the journey ahead.nnOn the train itself, I was pleasantly surprised by the accessible facilities. The trains are well-designed with disabled passengers in mind, and the spacious, accessible toilets were a real highlight. They were clean, easy to use, and large enough to accommodate wheelchairs, providing a hassle-free experience during the trip. It’s not always easy to find accessible toilets on public transport, so this made the journey significantly more comfortable and stress-free.
Cardiff Central Railway Railway Station is clean and organised.nI did not have difficulty to find my train going to London Paddington.nThe washroom is clean as well.
I have recently used this train station to go and visit Kidwelly down West Wales. I haven't been in this train station since I was a young teen. It was so easy to find out where to go and times and the prices to be truthful was cheap .nStaff helpful with plenty of things to eat n drink while you wait
We were pleasantly surprised tonight! We expected chaos after the rugby match at the Principality stadium, but everything went smoothly. We were directed by staff through cordoned crowd control walkways and let into the station when the platforms were clear. Excellent planning!
Beware: the gents' toilet on Platform 7 is absolutely disgusting, avoid!nWhy this station, formerly Cardiff GENERAL, had its name changed is beyond me; guaranteed to cause confusion and it adds no value whatsoever.nWhere do they find the people who make such decisions? Probably they are relatives of Dr. Beeching and equally destructive.nThe booking office staff are very helpful by contrast.
