First time to visit town for 10 months. I enjoyed my visit to the castle free entrance. Has places for food and drink due to restrictions no alcohol served. Must look fantastic in the dark as it is all lit up
Lovely castle and not too expensive to visit, you can get a lifetime pass very cheap if you live in the city. Usually lots of different open days with events going on, obviously less during lockdown bit still a beautiful place to visit. The grounds are free to visit and well worth a walk round the stunning gardens with any rare trees
Such an incredible castle to visit. Lovely outdoor area with seating available. Castle looks perfect. A friendly member of staff provided some history about the grounds and the castle, mentioning about the castle moat. One of my favourite places in Cardiff so far.
Had an amazing afternoon. You can have lovely food and drinks. 100% recommend the donuts. Absolutely amazing!!
Great set up at the castle, I had a great time in their little cabins listening to some great tunes. Christmas is definitely not cancelled! :
Winter wonderland was surprisingly good considering the restrictions in place due to Covid, it's a shame the ice ring was not allowed. Free entry with food stalls and some fair rides. Not a lot to keep the kids entertained but worth the visit.
Amazing place with some lavish designs. The interior was made with murals, stained glass, marbles and wood carvings. Each room has its own theme including the Mediterranean and Arabian decoration. Definitely, a place to visit.
A historic place and a useful map marker, this castle is great! The gift shop is free to visit, the only reason this review isn't 5 stars is the expensive food, but that's to be expected for a gift shop. The castle itself is well maintained, and overall a great way to spend a couple of hours!
