Shocking . Paid 7nights got 8th free  . The facilities signed for but not cleaned as I followed staff in  . The shower block needs demolishing and rebuilding.We used toilet and shower facilities in our unit as they were soo poor on site. Laundry room had not been cleaned first night to last night dog poo bag near washer. Still there on the day we left.Water was tepid to wash dishes 38 deg.nElectric hook up points wrapped in a metal foil . That's an accident waiting to happen. Fridge and freezer provided for use . Absolutely disgusting. Rusty, spilt food , failed door seal.nWe were supposed to be there for 8 nights but left 2 nights early.nThis place is run by Cardiff City Council. They should be ashamed . Lots of foreign visitors.nNot Cheap. Not a secure site . Plenty of folk passing through.nSunday was extreemly noisy as castle to castle run took place finishing on Pontcana field adjacent to camp site . Would have been nice to have been informed of expected noise early on a Sunday morning.nOn a positive all pitches are serviced . Fantastic location  for city centre venues.  Great walks in beautiful parks . Bike hire available on site. Easy walk to shops pubs cricket ground.nI would like to suggest that whom ever is I charge of this facility at Cardif City Council visits any C&M club site for a comparison.nI plan to phone environmental health regarding some of the issues I found

Nice campsite in the middle of Cardiff!nJust next to the sports stadium and only a 20min foot walk to Cardiff Castle and town centre.nThere is also a bike rental station at the campsite.nFacilities are older but well kept.nThe price is great - especially for being in the middle of the city.nThe staff is very very friendly.nAs this one is often fully booked we recommend to ask for availability via email or phone. We got a fast reply and reservation.

Bang tidy spot. Clean, decent shower block. Mid range for price at £31 per night. Quarter of an hour to town by foot. Well recommended.

Stayed here for 3 nights to go see Taylor Swift at the Principality Stadium 15 min walk away. Absolutely lovely campsite, beautiful, plenty of shade. The bathrooms for a campsite are wonderful, normally campsite toilets are quite frightful but these were luxurious compared to other sites we have been too.nThe staff were lovely!!! It's a nice quite area but ofc if you're staying when a show is on, expect noise. It's the perfect place to stay if you're going to a show. Very hot walk to the shops too! Have a wonderful time, thank you to all the staff

I have regularly used my campervan to stay at this home away from home. The facilities are complete and well maintained. The staff are a friendly team dedicated to making this place pleasant. Its location is the biggest winner, very close to urban activities and pleasures. But the gem is the massive green surroundings. I sleep better even on the cold, rainy and windy nights because of the fresh air.
