It's conveniently located on the main street. The BYOB Indian restaurant is nicely designed, clean, and comfortable. Service staff is welcoming and friendly when we arrive! Good selections on the menu with different tandoori and curry dishes. The papadom & condiments starters are nice; the naan bread and Malay curry is well seasoned and delicious! The pilau rice is bit undercooked, with plenty of dried-rice! My spicy madras mixed tandoori meat Balti is average in taste and the lamb and prawns are overcooked...else the chicken is tender and well cooked! Overall there's still room for improvements, although this seems popular for the locals, and it's reasonably priced!
Turned up at 6.00pm on a weekday without a reservation but no problem. Our group of 5 was quickly seated. There is convenient car parking at the side of the restaurant & although Cardamom is not licensed, a quick visit to the local supermarket provided a good range of beverages. The food selected was attractively served & tasted delicious. When coupled with the attentive service & value for money prices, we will certainly be visiting again soon.
I came here over the weekend with my fiance for a date night and had the most amazing evening. The atmosphere was great! Staff were so polite and happy! Actually really nice people. The food was really good, Will definitely be returning here again. Really wish I thought to ask the staff names for this review but they were all amazing. Thank you for a great night x
Excellent! Lovely decor, very clean & tidy restaurant with exceptional food and service. Great value for money and plenty to choose from. They don't sell alcohol however allow you to bring your own. Would highly recommend!
My family and I had an incredible dining experience at Cardamom in Alcester. From the friendly wait staff, the Inviting decor, and the scrumptious food, we could not have been happier or more satiated. The taste combinations created a symphony of seasonings coming together to an amazing flavor conclusion! The staff was very sensitive to our specific dietary needs and cooked dishes particularly designed to accommodate those needs. We plan to return again, has definitely earned its 5 STAR rating!
Refurbishment is very tasteful and done to a high standard. Staff were friendly and well informed regarding food allergies High cleanliness and hygiene standards Food was excellent. Well presented, hot and delicious Definitely worth a visit.
Probably the worst Indian dining experience we have ever had. The place was so noisy we were having to lean towards each other to have a conversation. The lights were way too bright. The food had a metallic taste and they are not licensed for alcohol which they do not make clear.
Fantastic restaurant. As a family who enjoy Indian food we picked this place out after a weekend away in Alcester. Service was very good, front of house excellent. A great menu full of excellent choices, We’d definitely find the time to visit again.
Great Indian. We came for a friends birthday and it was such a lovely place. Really nice atmosphere. Jango was a lovely waiter and made sure our meal was perfect. They even brought out a lovely birthday dessert for our little girls 4th birthday.
Had a takeaway from here late on a Sunday. Food and service was excellent. Will definitely go for a sit in next time as the deal is a real winner on a Tuesday, unlike other curry houses who have removed their curry rice and naan deals recently!
