Sharron is a rude worker at card factory, she huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes when she saw I needed my balloons blown up. Sorry Sharron that you work in card factory and get paid to blow up balloons. She then decided to be unprofessional and speak about Google reviews and that she doesn’t care what reviews are left on here. So I really hope you enjoyed the rest of your shift today blowing up the balloons you didn’t want to do. I feel sorry for the poor worker on shift with her today because I know I would have needed a big drink after spending a few hours with someone like that.
The staff were unable to fill a few birthday balloons with air as per the offering on the website and, not wanting to highlight training issues, I've gone elsewhere. Unless your intention is simple to buy a card, I'd be tempted to go elsewhere. What a waste if time! Having made a trip there specifically for a special 40th.
I went there to get some balloons filled. First I asked for the number balloons in a certain colour, they didn’t have the colour I needed so got them in another colour. I then asked to purchase some more balloons and get them filled with helium. She just said “do you have to? There’s only two of us and it will take a while” honestly I’ve never known someone to be so rude to me. You are there to do your job, after that I felt a lot less inclined to get the other balloons which unfortunately aren’t even the right size I’m not going back there ever again. The works next door were a lot nicer and helpful, I’d recommend going there
I always try to go here to get all my cards, as they are so reasonably priced but the service can be very hit and miss!! Not the girls fault but a distinct lack of staff on the premises, so long queues and frustrated customers is quite common. Also during the recent hot spell there was no air conditioning or even fans, so the shop was like an oven.
staff popped a balloon for my daughters birthday, told me it was my fault. very unprofessional, rude and combative experience. highly advise not using this store. avoid at all costs.
Lovely little shop, but I always find that this particular store is never fully stocked up on the things I need and I have to travel further out to Portsmouth.
I do find their cards are getting more expensive lately.
Excellent service and prices are very reasonable
Wide range of cards and small gifts.
Good place to go if you need a big no 3 balloon.
