The site is ok. The caravan we were in wasn't cleaned to a great standard. The beds are comfy though. Also the swimming is a bit of a nightmare we turned up at 9am to be told its owners only? Didn't see any info to this anywhere, and when we went back we were warned that the pool was only 26 degrees so it might be cold, we were literally in it for 2 minutes as it was freezing no way was it 26degrees and the water looked murky as hell in the top pool area. The park is a good location for making day trips out as if you stayed on site it would cost you a fortune
Nice caravan. Could have been a bit cleaner. Entertainment staff and the guy in the booking hub were excellent and very helpful. Other members of staff really couldn't be bothered. Everything seemed to much troublem
Caravan fairly clean, a couple of large cobwebs had been missed on cleaning. Dust on and behind tv, but on a more positive note the caravan was comfortable and provided us with what we needed for our stay. Would recommend
Last day of a 5 day stay. Caravan wasn't the best we've stayed in but it was acceptable, a 2 bed room for a family of 5 so had to use sofa bed, although that wasn't ideal we managed & it was easy to use instructions wouldn't go a miss though and van was clean and tidy. Bad points, van could have done with more plug sockets 1 in each bedroom & only 4 in room/kitchen, there's no low level lighting its either light up or pitch black, not ideal for if kids need toilet in night or whoever ends up on sofa, paid for beds to be made but sofa bed was just a quilt and pillows no covers shoved in a bag in wardrobe, lighting on paths between vans is limited so taking dog for a walk at night was hard as you couldn't see path at times and kept slipping off edge of paths in places could easily twist an ankle, you could slightly hear music from bar area but it wasn't loud enough to disturb you & went off early. Overall it isn't the best site we've ever stayed on but it's a good location, brid, Filey & Scarborough are all easily accessible, van could have done with some little extras a nightlight would have been useful but we've enjoyed our stay and would return to Cayton bay, but next time we'll get an 8 birth.
Cleanliness of caravan was a disappointment not the cleanest caravan we have had with parkdean. Sadly cleaner of caravan didn't do job properly. Overall park was good in a lovely area and public transport on edge of park
