The best of the best!! My favourite restaurante in the whole country. So authentic. I am so glad this “local” has been given the recognition it deserves. I have been coming to this little taste of heaven for many years now and it gets better every time. The food speaks for itself. They have specials each time which are insanely good. The chorizo dish is the best chorizo al vino I have ever had in my life, considering I lived in Spain for a time. Nothing compares. The people are wonderful, greeting you with a smile and always checking in. The Latin music in the background creates a wonderful atmosphere. And to top it off the sangria both white and red are so delicious. The perfect place for a family gathering, date or catch up. Mi novio dijo “la comida aquí alimenta el alma” y es verdad.
A very amazing and quiet spot for people who want to enjoy tapas. Decor was really spot on and made you feel like you were in local Spain. The staff greeted us with a smile and a great attitude. The food is fantastic and you can really tell the chef puts so much effort into each meal. We enjoyed that much we didn't want to leave, would definitely come back again and recommend for anyone who would love a quiet date night.
Service was excellent. The decor is good, minimalist and uncluttered. The place feels warm. We visited during lunch time on Tuesday and it was quiet. Menu is not extensive. They have some unusual items in the tapas menu. I found some of the dishes a bit sweet.Food: 4/5
Amazing food. We had 6 tapas, a couple of beers and a couple of glasses of wine. Less than £100 It was fairly quiet but the service was fabulous. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Lovely hidden restaurant, great atmosphere and a very welcoming team providing quick service. Food was tasty and fresh, full of flavour, but unfortunately very salty ! I recommend the octopus dish and aubergine fritters. This place is on the pricier side but a great meal out for an occasion. The recommended 5 plates were not quite filling enough for two people. A lovely evening spent here though, I would come back!
We booked La Taberna as the restaurant for our wedding celebration as it is one of our favourite restaurants. Andres, Vivi and the team were super accommodating and did everything we asked for. The food was delicious as always and received several compliments from our guests. Overall they are great value for money and we can't wait to visit again and would recommend La Taberna to anyone.
Everything was so amazing!! Planning to come back soon!!! We went for my boyfriends mums birthday and everything was perfect. We really wanted a place that can make it feel special and this place did exactly everything! The food the atmosphere and the service was all brilliant. We ordered nearly everything off the menu all to share and everything we found incredible. She was really happy and so was you ! Would recommend this place to anyone especially for a special event. Unfortunately didn't get pictures of the food because we was busy eating it all.
Lovely staff, food is 10/10 and the value is really good, wouldn’t go anywhere else for tapas! Well seasoned, full of flavour and cooked perfectly our favourites are the octopus pictured the Chorizo & patatas bravas pictured tried the lamb for the first time and very juicy and flavourful, the aubergine fritters were also a lovely first time try!
The best tapas in Leeds 100%! UNREAL food! Highly recommend the aubergine fritters life changing, the croquettes, the prawns and the chorizo. Really friendly staff and a great atmosphere. But of a hidden spot but the food is outstandingFood: 5/5
