The car park, while functional, fails to transcend the mundane. Its utilitarian design lacks the poetic resonance one finds in architectural marvels. It's a symphony of concrete and steel, devoid of the soul-stirring elegance that defines exceptional parking facilities. Like a forgotten chapter in the urban landscape, it merely exists, devoid of the transformative power to elevate the pedestrian experience.
Not a bad car park always busy. Shame the council changed the parking from 1 hour free now only 1/2 hour, which does give time for shopping.
Used to be a nice Car Park to park in, with free 1/2 parking for the Disabled.nnNow you have to pay no matter what, and the prices are pricey.....nnGreed showing it's ugly head again, because with the parking with what it is in Halesworth anyway, makes it even harder to park in town now.nnThe High Street Disabled parking has been temporarily closed since Covid, so now unfortunately I won't be shopping in Halesworth anymore. Which is a shame, because we need to support the Local shops, not further restrict people from accessing them....nn31st Aug 2021.....Update the Thoroughfare is now open again, and disabled parking is now available there again...
Not many disabled spots. Be careful you don’t get blocked in by delivery vans and Lorrie’s, could be a long wait.
Close carpark to the main Halesworth amenities - Through the kind efforts of the shops and services on the thoroughfare, people can park for up to an hour for free but make sure you get a ticket for display if you do
