We Dutch tourists parked here for a day trip to London. We did not feel like driving our car into the city center and had a good experience using this as a “P+R Park & Ride” station.nnPotters Bar is only a few minutes' drive from the M25. Parking spaces are plentiful, spacious, and easy to navigate. Notice that parking spaces at the beginning are private/premium; the Apcoa car park is indicated in blue in the attached image. The parking tariffs are shown at the Apcoa website.nnPotters Bar is not in any low emission zone. So, contrary to the tube stations south of the M25, we could just drive our car here without having to buy a London 'ULEZ' emission zone fare.nnThe website told us to install an app to pay for parking tickets, called Apcoa Connect. But that app was not available on our foreign smartphones. Luckily, there were posters placed with a QR code leading to the Apcoa ScanPay website, where we could easily buy a day ticket and pay with Apple Pay or credit card online.nnFrequent trains run directly to Kings Cross in only 24 minutes, 3x or 4x per hour, until well after midnight. The train station has various shops to get some coffee, and free & clean toilets on platform 1.nnWe also liked that you can directly tap in and tap out at the ticket gates at the train station, using contactless payments. Simply tap your bank card or smartphone at the reader. So, it is not necessary to buy a train ticket in an app or at the ticket machines.nnNotice that there is another, private, car park right next to Darkes Ln. We did not use that because it looked a bit cramped, but that one seems to be even cheaper
Totally confusing which car park is which. Paid on the wrong app twice, notices came through, challenged it pointing out the Google pin isn't correct, appeal denied, cost me £200.
Do not park here with any cost. Privately owed my a car park company. They send you parking tickets even though you have pay for the parking. And you need to provide them all the evidence to get rid off that. Which useless
Do not park here, there are two car parks in the same lot and is made deliberately confusing so that they will land you with a parking charge.
some of this car park is not actually for the station and they also have premiere parking where you get a £60 fine deliberate way of getting money from drivers it's not clear where you can or cannot park
