Professional and reasonably priced and a pleasure to deal with there are only a few left in the insurance industry that meet their standard.
I was insured with Heritage for two years but this year decided to use a company with a cheaper quote. I needed my confirmation of my No Claims, I contacted them by phone and I was told it would soon be with me, nothing, I then sent them an email, nothing, no reply. I can only ascertain from this that if you leave Heritage they’re not very helpful.
Avoid! Tried for a week to renew policy but Heritage incapable of correcting their incorrect premium mistake on the ‘pay now’ button and no response to email! Ring backs promised but never happened, then had a call this morning telling me as I’d not paid the premium, my insurance had lapsed!! Even have an email saying they’d renew without charge over the weekend and they’d sort it out and call today!! Left hand has no idea what the rights doing! Used another broker and car now insured elsewhere.
Having looked around for classic car insurance i was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency in which Andrew dealt with my enquiry from the minute the phone call was answered. Having looked at other insurers I would not hesitate in recommending Heritage as the service I received was far above that I expected or had experienced from others and was able to get my cover on risk immediately with no time wasted. A very well deserved 5 star rating and more business heading their way very soon!!!
Very friendly but professional company to deal with and I have had my cars insured with them for some years now. The only claim I have ever had to make was for a damaged windscreen which was dealt with quickly and efficiently. I had a couple of queries on the renewal documents this year and I spoke to Seema Lal who contacted the underwriters and resolved the issues whilst I was still on the telephone. I would like to thank Seema once again for her kind assistance on this occasion and say what a great ambassador she is for Heritage Insurance. I should add that all the staff I have ever spoken to at Heritage Insurance have always been extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, and as a retired Sales Manager they seem like the kind of people I would have been happy to have on my team. Hopefully I shall have quite a few more years of Heritage looking after my insurance.
Absolutely excellent service from start to finish with this company! I have insured al of my property insurance with Heritage Insurance now. The residential let properties were hard to insure previously but Heritage have found me a comprehensive policy at a very competitive price for both properties! This made me insure my own home very recently and the correct policy for my needs was recommended which of course I have also set up. Will be getting a quote for my cars when they are due!
Absolutely fabulous. Usually when renewal notice comes through, you see a price hike and think 'here we go again' but no, it was reduced! No more time spent looking for more reasonable quote. V happy, v amazed , v loyal!
I paid for my annual classic car insurance in one go. After 5 months I decided to sell the car and contacted Heritage to advise of this fact. Not only did they point blank refuse to refund any of the premium paid, they said I had to pay a further cancellation fee of £25. Despite numerous protests by myself they stonewalled me and kept blaming the underwriter. Within days of this conversation they sent me a threatening letter re legal proceedings if the money was not immediately paid. In my humble opinion, such conduct is nothing but racketeering as my car was insured for less than half of the period I paid for yet I had to give them additional money to cancel the policy. From my experience, I can definitely NOT recommend Heritage Insurance!
