Convenient, and well priced in relation to its location at the top of Queen St. We spent the day in Cardiff, having food, shopping, lunch, escape rooms, and then the entire evening at the New Theatre, the entire bill came to just £10 for parking. There was plenty of space in the car park. Also, even though the car park is at the other end of the city centre, Cardiff is such a compact city it doesn’t make a huge difference if you are reasonably mobile. It’s closeness to the the New Theatre is superb, but if you get the Centre after a particular time you have to walk around to the rear of the building to access the car park.
Affordable monthly parking / weekend parking. Car park is a bit tight at the entrance and spaces but can accommodate large cars Range Rover, BMW 5 Series, trucks etc.. There is CCTV and entry and exit is ticketed. Can sometimes be a queue to exit at rush hour as the commuters are leaving.
The car park itself is one of the best in Cardiff with plenty of space for bigger cars However ...Cardiff council have done everything they can to ruin driving in Cardiff City Centre so unless you know the city you might not find it. Plus make sure you don't drive into a yellow box...ever...or it will be an expensive shopping trip. The Capitol end of City has many shops now boarded up which does reflect the anti business approach the city council takes. They behave like they have a good tram system or underground. They don't. Priority is really for cyclists. Most Saturdays the city becomes log jammed due to impromptu road closures so allow and extra half hour to get in and out. .....rant over ha!
Awful car park. I used this for the first time today. First impression was that there were *even more* concrete blocks, barriers, kerbs etc than most car parks for you too try and scrape yourself on. When I got to the parking level, probably half the spaces were all coned off. No idea why. The layout seems to be all over the place. Eventually managed to manoeuvre my way into an awkward space. Upon getting back I saw that there was a pay station on level 2 where I was parked. Wandered around for ages trying to find it as there was 1 sign & then no more. Driving up to the exit, I chose the "Exit 1" lane to make it easier to get round the corner. But it turns out that it's actually impossible to fit a VW T6 van through the width between the wall & the ticket machine, so I now have a big scratch on one of my wing mirrors The only good thing is at least it's pretty cheap, but that's obviously very much negated by the money I'm now going to have to spend getting my wing mirror repaired.
Absolutely ridiculous car park. Well over an hour to get out of a half empty car park because the management team are too lazy to manage the flow in a productive way. If they took literally 5 minutes to fix the second exit bollard the carpark would filter so much easier.
Walkable distance from Cardiff castle area and chai street restaurant region. Affordable price as well.
The lifts weren't working it was 10 pm and the shops were shut so had to use the entrance opposite the train station I am registered disabled and really struggled to use the stairs there was nobody available to ask for assistance
Nice and central always seem to gave to park on the top tho busy car park
So with the gym membership you get access to the car park 24/7 gym that is. However, i entered the car park 11pm and came out of the gym at 12.30 and the couldn't exit the car park! The barriers were down and the security staff member mentioned that due to insurance i would have to move my car at 6am! Stranded in the car park literally and no one to call. Awful, if its a 24 hour gym and free parking Where's the mention of the car park closing? Shambles honestly.
A dark dismall expensive car park nuf said .
