We are an Antiques & Fine Art auction house based in Manchester since 1826. We have a rich history spanning almost 200 years and specialise in the sale of objects d'art, antique furniture, traditional and contemporary painting, collectors items and European ceramics among many others.

We hold fortnightly specialist sales in our Manchester premises and have a valuation office based in Lytham.

Fair minded staff with good professionalism, despite the rolex celini and just one fish slapped face
After tracking down an artist whose work I wanted to buy I found Capes Dunn. They always kept me informed when works were coming up at their Northern Art Sale. Helpful with directions, loading and deliveries, nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Dale, Pamela and Sharon.
Poor service, auction price very low for the items you sell better selling on Facebook or car boot. Charges very high, sold items for £170 got back £112 so would not recommend selling via auction
Not much information given about your items goibg into auction waiting time for your money is up to 5wks from being sold thats ridiculous is it for their banks benefit?
Nice and relaxed auction. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. In an industrial/office unit, a bit tired and rough around the edges but does the job. Limited parking.
Want to sell some antique? This is the place. Only backdraw is moneytakes a while to come in your bank if your things are sold. Good place to buy at auction.
Good knowledgeable and fair evaluation of items, which was free and i received prompt payment for my items, all of which sold for around the evaluation estimate. Happy days!
