It doesn't get as many trains, as its a low volume station. There is no staff onsite and the ticket machine is sometimes damaged and sometimes not responsive but generally OK. There is a bike rack, and covered waiting areas. But nothing else, it is a bare station. It does have a free car park.
Easy enough to get to Liverpool/Chester but trains bypass this stop occasionally leaving it slightly unreliable
Quiet and plesant country station of a basic kind. Open covered waiting shelters and bike rack. Automatic ticket machine no office. No toilet facilities Small car park.
Basic station with not all trains stopping there but did the job!
