We recently moved into the area and bought our house through McCoubrey Cooke. The whole team were absolutely amazing, always approachable but more importantly across the sale and able to get it over the line. Emma in particular was amazing but the whole team were involved and went over and above on more than one occasion.. Cheers Matt
We have used this agent years ago to sell and they were fine but standards have gone down hill since. Last summer we put an offer in on a house, didn't hear back for days, called in to the office to ask about it, someone phoned the vendor who said they hadn't recieved any offer!!. There are houses in their side window still showing for sale but they were actually sold last summer we tried to buy one of them back In the summer. The company no longer use Rightmove which for any seller is a must now, I'm not sure what is going on really.
Giving one star as I can't give 0! Avoid using McCoubrey Cooke if letting out your property. The management is abysmal, over a year after last tenant moving in and over a dozen email and phone requests, I'm still waiting for an itinerary. Had to return full deposit to last tenant as no evidence of whether last tenant or previous tenant damaged worktops. Place was not cleared of rubbish as promised after first tenant left, 6 weeks later I did it myself. Rent was paid to us up to 6 days after being received by agent. Emails are ignored, maintenance is none existent and utility companies are not informed when tenant changes, which left Dwr Cymru chasing me for £187 outstanding water bill. I have no idea what I was paying the management charge for each month. If you feel you do want to go with them, ensure you get an agreement in place so you have something to go back to. I stupidly trusted them when they said I didn't need one.
Not easy trying to find properties this firm is selling, they direct you to zoopla, shows 1 property, rightmove is not recognised etc. Gave up in end
We're after buying our 1st house and my partner went in here to ask for help and advise, the women that she approached seemed really rude and judgemental and didnt help one bit , my partner came away from here feeling really annoyed and upset about the situation. I would rather take my business somewhere that wants to help out rather then make us feel unwanted
I never visited the show room I have been dealt with by by phone and on site viewing, all highly professionally done very pleasant staff always return calls.
Not a easy site to.use.... and they never contact you even though they asked for your email address
Don't hate it the Guy I spoke to then later met was really helpful. Showed us round house not at all pushy.
