DO NOT TOUCH! Doctor just called to confirm I have Campylobacter food poisoning from raw poultry. I have been sick for over 10 days now. The stomach pain and cramps have been unreal. Excreting blood for days. Food was not good. Also £15 minimum for card payments? Tax dodging much? Even the attitude during service was awful. Be warned! Stay away!
Great food. Reliable and consistent. Chippy chips. which are not the best with Chinese food but I suppose that's subjective Chips can be hit or miss when they're rushed and busy. Laziness and pressure from customers results in soggy undercooked mushy tato's. Biggest gripe here though is the price ever increasing and they ignore the customers in shop in favour of answering the phone which is very frustrating. Seemingly no order to how and who is served first. Often there are long wait times while multiple new customers come and go. Also the £15 minimum card payment requirement is not only silly, it's unlawful... All a bit hyper in here at busy times but the main dude seems to know what's going on. "OK" :
I recently visited this Chinese restaurant and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The food was bland and uninspired, and the service was rude and inattentive. When we arrived, we were seated at a dirty table with crumbs and spills still present from the previous customers. Our server took our order without even making eye contact or asking if we had any questions about the menu. When the food arrived, it was cold and underseasoned. The dishes were clearly not made with fresh ingredients and tasted like they had been sitting out for a long time. The portions were small and overpriced for the quality of the food. To make matters worse, the server never checked on us to see if we needed anything or if the food was satisfactory. When we asked for the bill, we were met with a condescending attitude and felt rushed to leave. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant. The food and service were subpar and not worth the money. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area that offer a better dining experience.
Food poisoning incident - Had a takeaway on Tuesday 7th of January evening. Woke up at 2am and had terrible sickness with vomiting and diorama. I had sweet and sour chicken balls with egg fried rice.
Went in last night for the first and last time! What a miserable faced pair they were..felt really down when I left and ony in there 5 mins..my husband said food was bland...plus the had big handwritten sign saying cash only..
Quite abrupt when I told them I didn't have cash even though they take card payment. Made an issue of not doing portions of cashewnuts anymore when I kindly asked them for one when they done it the past quite happily
Stopped in here on the way home as it had become our go to fish and chip shop but once I’d ordered I was told that the minimum limit for card transactions was now £15 NO EXCEPTIONS. To get my dinner I had to walk in the pouring rain to the coop to get money out. I asked if I could pay by card as I was only £2 under this new limit but no! I got back to the car wet and put off ever going here again. Then when I got home I found I had two small pieces of fish instead of one full piece and one small as last time. Not planning to back here again anytime soon.
New takeaway find and very good nice feed for. Will use again as a new local.Food: 4/5

Sick for well over a week because of this place. Absolutely revolting! Stay away!
