We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a better team for our wedding day at Cam’s Mill.nnFrom the very beginning, Luke organised our wedding, was absolutely amazing. He was so helpful, professional and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and having someone so attentive and reassuring made the whole planning process so much easier.nnOn the wedding day itself, Luke and his whole team were fantastic. They were friendly, attentive and worked so hard behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly. We were able to relax and enjoy every second knowing that everything was being taken care of.nnThe venue looked beautiful and provided the perfect setting for our special day. We received so many lovely comments from our guests about how wonderful the venue was and how brilliant the staff were.nnA huge thank you to Luke and the entire Cam’s Mill team for helping make our wedding day so special. Every member of the team was warm, friendly and attentive, making sure both we and our guests were looked after from start to finish. No glass was ever left empty, drinks were constantly topped up and there was always fresh iced water on the tables. It was those little touches that made everyone feel so well cared for throughout the day.nnThe venue looked stunning, the food was incredible and everything ran so seamlessly that we were able to relax and enjoy every single moment. The team set up all of our table centres exactly as we had asked, paying great attention to every detail. At the end of the evening, they carefully packed everything away for us to collect the following day and even stored our leftover wedding cake safely in the fridge, which was such a thoughtful touch given it was one of the hottest days of the year and the cake was melting and one less thing for us to worry about.nnLuke deserves a special mention for going above and beyond to ensure our reception was everything we had dreamed of. His calm, reassuring approach and attention to detail made such a difference and it's clear how much he genuinely cares about creating unforgettable weddings.nnWe've had so many compliments from our guests about the beautiful venue, the amazing food and the exceptional service. Our friends and family have been visiting this pub for years and has it’s recently become our go-to. The staff have been friendly and accommodating in the most amazing ways with celebrations, and parties they’ve hosted for us. The lovely tall blonde lady behind the bar is extremely knowledgable and ensured all our comforts were catered for to help us have a great time here. They have a good range of draft beers and especially Peach Jubel, we really really hope this stays. On summer nights, there couldn’t be a more gorgeous English setting to watch the sun set, and even better in the winter when they have the fire roaring.
We recently visited Cams Mill in Fareham for a Sunday roast, and it turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The setting itself is lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to unwind on a weekend.nnFor our main, we chose the roast pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly cooked—juicy, tender, and full of flavour—while the crackling had just the right crunch without being overly hard. The sides were just as impressive: fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with care. Everything complemented the pork beautifully, making it feel like a proper hearty Sunday roast.nnTo drink, we had a Peroni, and it was exactly what you’d hope for—refreshing, crisp, and served ice cold, which paired wonderfully with the richness of the pork.nnThe highlight of the meal, however, came at the end with dessert. We went for the sticky toffee pudding, accompanied by a pot of tea, and it was hands down the best part of the visit. Rich, indulgent, and comforting, it provided the perfect sweet finish.nnOverall, Cams Mill delivered a fantastic Sunday lunch experience, and we’d happily return.
