Chertsey Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Story

hertsey is on the banks of the Thames, just a 30-minute train ride from London.

This lovely riverside campsite is an oasis in the suburbs. It has a really rural feel yet is just a 30-minute train ride to London from the Weybridge station. It’s also perfectly placed for visiting some of the country’s best-loved theme parks (Lego Land, Thorpe Park and Chessington), as well as the world-famous Kew, Wisely and Savill gardens. Hampton Court and Chelsea flower shows are also within easy reach from here.
This popular site is on the banks of the River Thames. Bag yourself a riverside pitch and watch the many pleasure craft sail by. Walkers will enjoy the Thames Path Nature Trail, a towpath leading to Staines.

The sheltered site provides great facilities for campers, including a games room with TV and table tennis table.

Lovely clean site. Friendly, helpful staff. Close yo the river so you can sit and watch the boats, paddle boarders etc Two pubs within easy walking distance that also overlook the river so nice if you just want a drink or sit and have a meal.
Brilliant campsite with excellent amenities as you would expect from a Camping and Caravan Club site. Excellent location for visiting Windsor, Kew and trips into central London.
Good friendly greeting on arrival. Social distancing adhered to well. Regular cleaning of toilets and shower. Hand sanitizer available. Good pitch. Plenty of space. Electric hook up, water and drain on pitch. Good local area - walks/cycles along Thames River, BP garage, pubs
Lovely site. Very good facilities. Good generous pitches
Given the Covid issue sight was well managed, clean and tidy. Garage with linked Londis opposite. Two eateries nearby. Easy access to the Thames with picnic facilities available on one side. Big meadow on other side with easy access for fishing.
Excellent position. Great rail service to London and Windsor. Adjacent river walks. Good shops.
Very helpful staff. Beautifully clean site. Very warm loos. Thee is a large rec room with tables and chairs that we were able to use. Picturesque setting overlooking the river. Only a 10min walk to a good sized Sainsbury’s for shopping.
