I really like this place. It's small and great for really little ones. There's a lot of upgrade works in progress. Once these are finished it will make the centre more interesting. We went what I would consider is late in the day around 1.30pm, they close around 4.30pm and I would say it was fairly busy. Plenty of people in the cafe and plenty walking around the animals. On the other side of the wildlife centre there is a park, which was pretty busy, so overall I'd consider this to be a popular place to be away from the city. There are a lot of areas that could do with an upgrade within the wildlife centre but I guess funding and COVID possibly haven't been kind to them
Fantastic play park. Toilets not good. Kiosk sells ice cream, drinks and sweets. Also visited the wildlife park which is lovely, very clean and tidy, they also have a small cafe and clean toilets. Brilliant place for kids. Small zoo, nice size. Some lovely areas for animals, loved the guinea pigs and their play area. Lucky to view most of the animals/birds. Great cafe, reasonable prices. Gift shop. A learning room which we didn't manage to use. Play park amazing at least 5 different play areas. All age groups accounted for. Also walks within the grounds. A small circular area for bicycles. Large areas to kick a ball or throw a frisbee. Excellent day out.
Loved it although a lot of the animals were either hiding or sleeping. Great to see the rescued bears, the fabulous wolves and the gorgeous , playful otters. Wonderful work being done by the conservationists - keep up the good work.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Camperdown is a fantastic place to go for the day, for only £6 you get to see some really dynamic animals like the monkeys, lemurs and meerkat as well as some big beasts like the bears and eagles. Plenty of area for picnic too or a cafe if you want to splash out a bit more. Its also very wheelchair friendly with almost the entire park accessible from smooth well kept tarmac paths and only a slight incline which shiuld pose no problems.
The weather was a bit off the day I visited which meant many of the animals were sheltering out of sight but I still enjoyed the visit. I also took advantage of the well run cafeteria where the service was very good as was the food.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Great open Space, huge play park area for kids of all ages. Wildlife centre with a lot of different animals staff were super helpful and friendly all for a very reasonable entry fee. Lots of space to explore walking around the grounds, dog friendly. Plenty of facilties cafe attached to wildlife centre and kiosk at the play park with toilets attached.
Loved every minute of the wildlife center! Tucked away in the upper corner of Dundee there is a place filled with exotic animals. From the lynx cat to the ant eater with many more to name. You simply can't put into words how lovely this place is, especially during the sunny seasons.
Fantastic centre. A lot of lovely animals to see which are also very well looked after. They have excellent conservation efforts that are doing well. Great place to see for the price of admission too.
Lovely little place. Animals looked healthy and well cared for. Will visit again.
