Everyone locally knows it’s the best chippy around and I have to agree. Staff work hard to serve up fresh fish and chips and although it’s a small place you’re never waiting long for your order. As far as a chippy goes, the camp fish & chips is one of the best I've had. Simple take away with friendly staff and great fish and chips. Batter is nice and light while chips are freshly fried up to take away.Food: 5/5

Perhaps the best fish and chips in St Albans, reasonable price

Honestly, one of the best fish and chips I've had in a loooong while. The cod was sweet and fresh - not oily at all, and the chips tasty too. Definitely worth it . Thankyou!

Unfortunately really didn’t enjoy the fish and chips at this place, maybe because Ive had way better, the batter wasn’t crispy, I asked for salt and vinegar didn’t get that, as ladies where too busy talking amongst themselves, and I’m pretty sure they gave me a regular sized cod when I asked for large, maybe the price for some people is reasonable l, and thought it was on the pricier side especially as it only a takeaway, otherwise the shop is clean inside and it can get busy in there so others must be enjoying it.

The best fish in town and the best chips in the UNIVERSE!! Order through online, easy and efficient system, pick up food after 15mins. Food are amazingly fresh & hot! Try out the scampi, they are yummy too! Sorry no photo as they gone in tummy already

Have to say. I've been to many chippers in Ireland and in UK. This is the best one I have been to.  Fish is perfect and batter is lovely and light.

Best saveloy and chips Ive had in ages. Cost me less than my chappy.meal deal from asda. Sav chips and curry sauce 5.60. You can't beat that. ThanksFood: 5/5

Fish amazingly crispy and lovely chips. So happy it reopened after the fire. Sometimes there is more of a wait but only if they have been busy and having to make an entirely new batch of fish
