An exceptional location not far from Lochnes near the village of Foyers. Deer, cows and horses graze outside. A fire is burning in the fireplace, the aroma of freshly baked home-made cakes and good coffee spreads. All this with the hospitality of a family business creates a very pleasant atmosphere. I recommend to visit.
Second time I’ve stopped by there, had the full breakfast this time. Really appreciate their understanding in swapping out the black pudding. The ingredients are local - you can taste the difference - quality is solid and probably one of the best pieces of bacon I’ve ever had. Highly recommend stopping by - the highland coos and the Shetland pony are a lovely attraction!
Really loved this cafe and shop, a must on any visit to Foyers, and just up from the waterfall walk entrance. Beautifully done out inside with cycling memorabilia and old black and white photographs of the local community, and some lovely things on sale from local artists. Staff are really friendly and the food is excellent. And to top it all there are many handsome highland cows in the field outside. What’s not to like?!
A lovely warm place to have a nive pot of tea , and to just calm and relax. We got there just at closing time and the welcomed us in while closing and served us well.
Was full on arrival so sat outside and had a lovely view of the heiland coos! They were really honest about the wait time for food, although it didnt take as long as they said. We all had the home made soups which were delicious. Staff very friendly too.
Thought it was a farm shop but was surprised to find a restaurant , the ambience was really nice with a sofa and fire place . Ordered chicken panini and baked potato with chicken, egg and cheese . Liked the potato a lot , they also sell some local produce , paintings and framed photos, friendly attentive staff, and you would also get the opportunity to meet nosy mcmoo, the highland cattle who entertained us . If you are visiting foyers this is a good place to stop for food. It’s close to the foyers falls.
Lovely place to stop for a bite. Very friendly, we ate outside so the kids could play. They loved the deer, cows and horses. Great little tea room!
Great place for breakfast or afternoon tea, the coffee is amazing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Interesting place to take children to as they have deers and cows, and some very cute baby cows
Fantastic for breakfast! Staff are super friendly and accommodating, food is great, place is cozy with a great view. Really inclusive menu with gluten and dairy alternatives as well as vegetarian options! Couldn't fault it at all.
This is an excellent cafe it is well worth a visit. It is just about one mile from the Falls of Foyers. We arrived just before noon it was reasonably busy but we got a table. The lady who served us was very friendly and welcoming. I had mushroom soup and chicken mayonnaise sandwich it was quite a helping. As we sat the restaurant filled up it obviously has a name, some people sat outside as it was a nice day. It was good to see some cycling memorabilia which had been donated. I should also mention that you can buy honey, jam, eggs etc from the wee shop within the restaurant. I would recommend you book or arrive before noon otherwise you may have to wait or sit outside.
